چکیده

Using recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) in steel-reinforced structure is an effective way to eliminate the adverse effects of aggregate, which has excellent application prospect. Fire a great destructiveness (SRRAC) structure; hence, bond performance SRRAC after high temperature, as prerequisite for composite between steel and RAC, key problem structural safety corresponding assessment fire. In this article, residual behaviors steel-recycled interface different temperatures spraying water cooling were studied through push-out test. The failure modes load–slip curves examined. ultimate strength, elastic shear stiffness specimens temperature regime evaluated compared that natural air. A parametric analysis replacement percentage, studs was conducted. calculation approach strength developed based on sensitive gray system theory regression analysis. Results showed properties decreased exposure increased. more significant influence than with both flange web have highest temperature. all factors, number largest relational degree SRRAC. provided reliable prediction

Mechanical Behavior of Recycled Aggregate Concrete-Filled Steel Tubular Columns before and after Fire

Recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) is an environmentally friendly building material. This paper investigates the mechanical behavior of recycled aggregate concrete filled steel tube (RACFST) columns exposed to fire. Two groups of 12 columns were designed and tested, under axial compression, before and after fire, to evaluate the degradation of bearing capacity due to fire exposure. Six specimens...

Assessing relationships among properties of demolished concrete, recycled aggregate and recycled aggregate concrete using regression analysis.

Recycled demolished concrete (DC) as recycled aggregate (RA) and recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) is generally suitable for most construction applications. Low-grade applications, including sub-base and roadwork, have been implemented in many countries; however, higher-grade activities are rarely considered. This paper examines relationships among DC characteristics, properties of their RA and...

Compressive Behavior of Recycled Mortar After Exposure to High Temperatures

The possibility of using fine recycled concrete aggregate as a substitute for natural sand are relatively limited. In order to promote it for engineering application, this paper reports the effect of elevated temperatures from room temperature to 600C on the compressive behavior of mortars containing recycled fine concrete aggregate was investigated. It is found that no obvious relation between...

Residual Compressive Strength of Recycled Brick Aggregate Concrete at High Temperatures

-Utilization of construction debris as recycled aggregates in the production of concrete is gaining momentum nowadays due to the availability of large quantity of demolition waste. The recycled brick aggregate (RBA) concrete is made used for the production of low grade recycled aggregate suitable for concrete production. The risk of concrete structures exposed to fire is also on the increase du...

Reactivity in Recycled Concrete Aggregate

Full scale tests with crushed concrete used in sub-bases in roads show that the material has capacity to reharden, very slowly but also after prolonged periods of time. The rehardening process in crushed concrete aggregate has been analysed with a thermogravimetric method, comparing the change in chemical composition in the aggregate when set with water, compacted and hardened. It has been show...
